ichi the killer

My girlfriend got me this for Valentines Day. I don't know how I found out about the film.
The films dialogue is mainly in Japanese but some bits the female talks in English. Its
Like a psychological, crime, gang, thriller. In one bit the special effects are really bad as 'the killer' slices somebody in half. But straight away after he slices someone’s throat and the effects are similar to that of a samurai film (quite good).

He stabs and prods this guy quite a bit with a metal spoke.
Theres quite a few scenes like this its a bit sick.
